As a Colombian immigrant, since I made the decision to move to the United States to study English my adventure has taken me down paths in which, having had my own photographic studio, working for the pharmaceutical industry for more than six years, having worked for the state of Georgia in the Health Department for five years, and having worked for the Department of Internal Revenue (IRS) as a Tax Advisor for more than ten years. During my professional career I realized that I love to solve problems "if a problem or situation arises, clients look to me to solve it".

 

Working as a tax advisor my passion for solving problems grew more, during the time I worked for the IRS, the daily contact with clients solving a multitude of problems based on tax resolution awakened in me the need to go further and return to being an entrepreneur.  Having worked for the IRS gives me a clearer perspective and focus on tax compliance. "I'm always looking for a relaxed approach to the already stressful process of tax responsibilities for individuals and businesses."

 

My experience in tax resolution, tax law, tax compliance, and trainer are summarized in a single purpose "to reduce the stress of an already complicated process, finding and reaching the best possible result in that the taxpayer, fulfill their tax responsibilities" this was what led me to the creation and foundation of Soy Lotus Tax Solutions which translates into financial rebirth by simplifying and providing tax resolution in a relaxed way.

The success of my business is based on the "quality of service and personal relationship with our customers", it is important to maintain a focus on the needs of customers to maintain a close and supportive relationship with the client. Connecting with people is what I like, and I experience it every day.

During my professional career training is innate, I love to educate and as a tax advisor I saw the important need to educate the taxpayer. That's how I started mentoring Latina women entrepreneurs in 2021 in the state of GA in partnership with Hispanic Alliance, it is gratifying to see how much potential we have.  We have managed to help women follow their dreams and start their business in GA with satisfactory results.

 

I have a Bachelor of Arts and Advertising degree with a specialization in Business Communication from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, Bogotá, Colombia, English certification from Ga Tech, certification as a Spanish/English Medical Interpreter from the University of Georgia, and IRS Tax Advisor and IRS Tax Resolution certifications. Member of American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce

From practicing professional photography, my passion for painting and art, to being a Kundalini Yoga practitioner and instructor, I enjoy spending my days with my son visiting the beautiful mountains, waterfalls and walking the beautiful trails and paths of our beautiful Georgia.
